JetGo Travel – Your Questions, Answered

About Jet Go Travel

What is Jet Go Travel and how is it different from other travel sites?

Jet Go Travel is an experience-first travel network powered by a global roster of videographers, photographers, writers, and drone pilots. Instead of scraping the web or relying solely on in-house staff, we commission creators who are already on location to capture the real, unfiltered vibe of a place—street sounds, sunrise light, spicy market smells—then package that raw footage into short-form videos, reels, and in-depth articles. The result: you can see exactly what to expect before you book. Whether you land on our website, Instagram feed, TikTok, or newsletter, you’re tapping the same creator ecosystem, vetted by our editorial team for accuracy and transparency—not by algorithms or anonymous reviews.

Is your content sponsored or independent?

Both—Jet Go Travel runs on a hybrid model:

  • Editorial Guides (unpaid): Many of our pieces start because a creator is already on location and wants to show you the buzz-worthy cafés, hostels, or hikes they’ve discovered. No money changes hands, and the businesses featured don’t see the story until it’s live.

  • Sponsored Features (paid): Local restaurants, hotels, tour operators, and gear brands can pay for extra exposure on our site, socials, or newsletter. When that happens, we flag it as “Sponsored” and still send a creator on scene to try the experience, capture original visuals, and give honest, first-hand feedback.

Whether a post is paid or purely editorial, the creator’s real opinion comes first—no pre-written copy, no review swaps, and no scripts from the client. If something doesn’t live up to the promise, we say so (or we don’t run it at all).

How do you select destinations, hotels, and experiences to feature?

We balance local insight with travel-assignment depth:

  1. Creator-Led “Backyard” Picks – Our global roster submits ideas from the cities and regions they already call home. Because they know the scene, they can spot the indie hostels, street-food stalls, or surf schools that match Jet Go Travel’s Gen Z/Millennial vibe before the crowds do. We vet each pitch against audience interests—sustainability, design, value, and sheer fun—then green-light the winners.

  2. Curated Travel Assignments – For bigger stories, we build a full itinerary and fly a creator in. Think 4–5 days that pair a boutique hotel with neighborhood cafés, a night market, and a cliff-jumping excursion. Everything is booked exactly as a traveler could replicate, so readers can follow the itinerary step-for-step—or cherry-pick the highlights.

In both cases, we choose partners (paid or unpaid) only if they fit the trip narrative and our audience’s tastes; no random filler stops, no pay-to-play detours. The goal is a route you could copy tomorrow and come home raving about.

How do you make money?

Jet Go Travel runs on three transparent revenue streams—none of which add a cent to what you pay when you book or buy:

  1. Affiliate Links – In some guides you’ll see links to booking engines, gear shops, or tour platforms. If you click and complete a purchase, the merchant shares a small commission with us. Your price stays exactly the same; the cut comes out of the merchant’s marketing budget.

  2. Sponsored Placements & Articles – Restaurants, hotels, activity operators, and travel-lifestyle brands can pay for extra exposure on our site and socials—much like how influencers monetize their channels. Even then, a creator still visits in person and delivers honest feedback; if we wouldn’t recommend it to friends, we won’t run it.

  3. Branded Content Campaigns – Companies hire our creator network to ideate, shoot, and edit short-form videos or photo sets they can use in their own marketing. Those projects are clearly labeled “Partner Content.”

We never endorse a product, service, or destination we wouldn’t use ourselves, and every paid element is flagged so you can decide how much weight to give it. Your trust is the whole game.

Trip Planning & Bookings

Can I book flights or hotels directly through Jet Go Travel?

Not at this time. Jet Go Travel isn’t a booking engine—we’re your research and inspiration stage. When we spot a great fare or negotiate a reader deal, we’ll link you straight to the airline or OTA to complete the purchase. Same goes for hotels: click our recommended stay and you’ll land on the property’s own site or a trusted booking partner to lock it in.

Do you offer personalized itinerary services?

Not yet—our current focus is publishing ready-made trip plans that anyone can replicate. As our creator network expands, we plan to introduce bespoke itinerary design so you can get a Jet Go-level, bucket-list experience tailored just for you. Stay tuned (and hop on our newsletter) to be first in line when the service launches.

Content & Editorial

How do you verify the accuracy of your travel information?

We use a two-tier approach:

  1. First-hand reviews only. Every hotel, restaurant, or tour we rate has been visited by a Jet Go creator—or by our core team—so comments on service, vibe, and value come from real experience, never guesswork.

  2. Multi-source research for logistics. For broader itinerary details—train times, neighborhood safety, walking distances, best seasons—we cross-check official tourism boards, transit timetables, satellite maps, and recent traveler reports. Then we build routes we’d personally follow, making sure landmarks line up logically and stay times make sense.

The result: reviews grounded in lived moments, itineraries engineered from solid data, and zero “blind” recommendations.

Do you accept guest posts or destination pitches?

Absolutely! We’re always looking for fresh voices and local expertise to add to our partner network. If you have a story idea, a destination deep-dive, or a photo/video package you think our audience would love, email partners@jetgotravel.com with a brief pitch and portfolio links. We review every submission and will get back to you with guidelines, rates, and next steps if it’s a fit.

How often is content updated?

We run rolling audits on our library—flagging destination guides for review at least once a year and fast-tracking any article that relies on seasonal hours, prices, or entry rules. When big changes hit (a hotel rebrands, a visa policy shifts, a landmark closes), we update within days. Every post carries a “Last updated” date stamp at the top so you can see exactly when the info was verified.

Advertising & Partnerships

How can my business advertise on Jet Go Travel?

Email info@jetgotravel.com with a quick note about your brand, goals, and target audience. A member of our partnerships team will follow up to share our media kit, talk through placement options (website, social, newsletter, creator-led shoots), and confirm whether we’re the right fit for your business. If everything aligns, we’ll tailor a package and timeline that maximizes reach and ROI.

What demographics can I reach?

As of May 2025, our reach looks like this:

  • United States: ≈ 77 %

  • Canada: ≈ 7 %

  • United Kingdom: ≈ 3 %

  • Australia: ≈ 2 %

  • Rest of world: ≈ 11 %

The majority of our community is 18-to-34-year-olds (Gen Z + young Millennials) with a slight female lean (~60 %). While those percentages reflect where our readers live, remember they’re all actively looking to travel, so your message extends well beyond their home countries.

Do you offer media kits or rate cards?

We do—but they’re only the starting point. When you reach out, we’ll share a baseline media kit with audience metrics and example pricing tiers. From there, our team runs a quick keyword-and-phrase audit to uncover what your ideal customers are actually Googling, saving, and sharing. Using that data, we build a bespoke package—blog posts, reels, newsletter slots, creator shoots—so every deliverable is aimed squarely at the search terms and social moments that move the needle for your business. In short: one kit, endless ways to customize. Reach out to us at info@jetgotravel.com – we’re happy to get started.

What types of creative assets do you require?

Almost none. Our creator squad handles the filming, photography, writing, voice-overs—every asset that appears in a Jet Go Travel campaign. All we ask from you is a quick brand brief: who your ideal customers are, what makes your product or property unique, and any must-hit talking points or seasonal promos. Armed with that context, our team does the storyboarding, shoots on location, and delivers polished content that speaks directly to your audience.

Creators & Influencers

How do I apply to be a Jet Go Travel Creator?

We’re currently accepting applications through this form:

https://www.jetgomarketing.com/services-creators

We’ve already hired our first cohort of 100 creators, but we open new spots frequently. Longer-term, we’re building an automated portal where you’ll be able to create a profile, browse live gigs, and accept assignments instantly. Until that launches, submit the form at the link above and we’ll contact you as soon as the next round opens.

What are the eligibility criteria (follower count, gear requirements, etc.)?

We don’t have a minimum follower count. What matters is your eye for storytelling and your ability to capture crisp, engaging footage. To apply, simply share a few recent video or photo examples—whether they got 50 views or 50 k doesn’t matter. We look for:

  • Strong visual style: good framing, lighting, and pacing.

  • Authentic on-camera presence: clear voice-over or face-to-camera segments that feel natural.

  • Reliable gear: a late-model smartphone or DSLR/mirrorless camera with stable video and decent audio is plenty.

If your sample clips show you can craft a compelling travel story, you’re in the running—no big follower stats required.

Do I have to post on my own channels?

Typically, no. Most assignments are “white-label” shoots where you capture assets for Jet Go Travel to publish on our platforms.
That said, some brands specifically request creator-hosted posts. During onboarding we collect your per-post rates (Stories, Reels, TikTok, carousel, etc.). If a client wants that extra reach, we share your numbers and, if they accept, add it to the brief as a paid add-on. You decide whether to take those gigs—nothing goes on your feed unless you agree to the terms.

How and when do creators get paid?

  • Up-front expense advance: Before you head to the restaurant, hotel, or activity, we send a pre-payment that covers the cost of the experience itself—no dipping into your own wallet.

  • Final payout on delivery: Once you’ve ticked off the shot list and uploaded all files to our portal, the remaining fee is released. Payment timing (e.g., immediately on approval, Net-7, or Net-14) is spelled out in your brief, so you’ll know the exact date before you accept the gig.

Funds land via your chosen method—PayPal, ACH, or Wise—so you can focus on creating, not chasing invoices.

Who covers travel expenses?

For travel assignments, Jet Go Travel handles all essential costs—flights, accommodation, and ground transport that are part of the approved itinerary—plus your creator fee. Any extras you choose outside that plan (e.g., a side-trip café run or souvenir shopping) are on you. For local gigs in your own city, we don’t reimburse travel because you’re already on home turf.

I can’t access my account / newsletter—what should I do?
